My client is a large Charity organisation who is looking for an IT Manager. You will be managing the whole IT Infrastructure, including around 10 staff, developing the IT Strategy and managing and negotiating 3rd party contracts*maintaining SLA?s. They are currently using Dell PC?s and Servers with Microsoft Windows 2003, Exchange 2003 and SQL 2000. You will also be involved in the current Projects E.G. software development, business continuity and setting up a VPN.

To apply for this role YOU MUST HAVE 1) at least 2 YEARS experience of staff management (5+), 2) 2 YEARS Project Management, 3) At least 1 YEARS ITIL experience with effective management if budgets and generation of new funds. You will be hands on management and must be able to configure and maintain a client server, having come from a technical background. In depth knowledge of Microsoft systems is essential and any Public Sector*Charities experience would be desirable, along with a PRINCE2 qualification.
